The Xbox Series X Launch Team controller is a variant of the Xbox Wireless controller that was given out to Xbox employees that worked on the Xbox Series X and S.

The controller was first shown by Larry Hryb on his Twitter on the day the new consoles launched. The controller was included in a a bag with a note from Phil Spencer. Several other Xbox employees also shared their controllers with the public on Twitter and the Xbox Discord server during the consoles launch.

Controller[]

The controller uses a similar design to the Robot White Xbox Wireless controller. It uses a full white D-Pad, thumbsticks, View Button and Menu Button. The A Button, B Button, X Button, Y Buttonare fully green. A black line pattern covers most of the controllers faceplate with launch dates for the original Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox One X and Xbox Series X|S written within the patterns.

The words Launch Team and Project Scarlett are also written on the controller, Project Scarlett being the codename for the Xbox Series X.

Carry bag[]

Every Launch Team controller was included in a small grey carry bag. The bags included similar patterns to what is present on the controller. A Scarlett shield can also be found on the bag which includes the words Launch Team and the numbers 2020 representing the year that the console launched.
