'''''Xbox Game Studios''''' is a [[video game]] production division of [[Microsoft|Microsoft Corporation]]. They are responsible for the development and publishing of video games for [[Original Xbox|Xbox]], [[Xbox 360]], [[Xbox One]], Games for Windows and Windows Phone platforms.

They were established in 2002 under the name of ''Microsoft Game Studios'' however, in 2011 they were re-branded and their name was changed to simply ''Microsoft Studios''. In 2019 the studios name was changed again, this time to ''Xbox Game Studios''.

On September 21st, 2020 Xbox and Microsoft acquired Zinemax the parent company of Bethesda. The creators of household titles such as Doom, Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, Wolfenstein, etc.. For 7 And a half Billion dollars! This added much more studios to Xbox Game Studios and employees.
