Xbox Game Studios is a video game production division of Microsoft Corporation. They are responsible for the development and publishing of video games for Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Games for Windows and Windows Phone platforms.

They were established in 2002 under the name of Microsoft Game Studios however, in 2011 they were re-branded and their name was changed to simply Microsoft Studios. In 2019 the studios name was changed again, this time to Xbox Game Studios.

Xbox Game Studios work with third-party companies and other development studios to help develop and publish video games under their label, such as Minecraft, the Halo series, Kinect Sports, Microsoft flight simulator, both the Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon series and the Gears of War games.
