The Outer Worlds 2 is an upcoming action role-playing game being developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Xbox Game Studios. The game is currently in early development with no set release date.
The game was announced during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase during E3 on June 13, 2021 via a one minute teaser trailer that poked fun at other cinematic trailers that have been released by large video game companies in the past.
It will be released on Xbox Series X|S and Windows PCs and also be available on Xbox Game Pass the day it is released. It is a sequel to the 2019 game, The Outer Worlds.

No game play has been officially shown for the game as it is in very early development, but it will take place in a new galaxy with a new crew.
