Star Wars Republic Commando is a tactical shooter video game developed and created by LucasArts. The game was released on February 28, 2005. On April 19, 2007, the game became backwards compatible with the Xbox 360 with a downloadable patch. The game then became compatible for the Xbox One as well on April 26, 2018.
Plot[]
You play as clone commander Gregor part of Delta Squad. Delta Squad was a military unit of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone war. The game has you go to three places in the game first being the planet of Geonosis, the second being a derelict Acclamator-class assault ship designated the Prosecutor, and the third being the planet of Kashyyyk.

DLC[]
Republic Comando got one DLC via Xbox Live. A multiplayer map Hangar could be added to the game.
Reception[]
The game received positive reviews at release. According to Metacritic they gave both PC and Xbox versions of the game a 78/100. IGN and OXM gave the game a 8.2/10 and GameSpot gave the game a 8.7/100.

The Star Wars Republic Commando Demo Disc contained a demo for Star Wars Republic Commando, MechAssault 2, Iron Phoenix and Ghost Recon 2. These Demo Discs were very similar to the Exhibition Demo Discs.
