Resident Evil 4 is a remake of the 2005 survival horror game of the same name, released on March 24, 2023 for Windows, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The game was announced during Sony's June 2022 State of Play event. The game was developed and published by Capcom. Players control the US agent Leon S. Kennedy, who must save Ashley Graham, the daughter of the United States president, from the mysterious Los Illuminados cult. The remake has an update plot, new visuals, characters, cast, and altered gameplay.

Resident Evil 4 received "critical acclaim, with many outlets praising its visuals, enhanced gameplay, and emphasis on action and horror" according to GameSpot.[1] The game received "universal acclaim" from Metacritic.[2]
