Madden NFL 2005 is a American Football game released for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube, and more on August 9, 2004. It is the sixteenth Madden game in the Madden series. The game features former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis on the cover. Al Michaels and John Madden return as game commentators. Madden 05 is the first Madden game to feature Xbox Live.
