The Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition Xbox One console was a limited edition variant of the Xbox One that was released on October 20, 2015, one week prior to the release of Halo 5: Guardians[1]. The console bundle included a 1TB Limited Edition Halo 5: Guardians Xbox One with matching controller, a limited-edition Halo 5: Guardians steelbook case, a digital download code for the game, a Metal Earth model of a Guardian, bonus downloadable content for the game and a trial for Xbox Live Gold[2].
The console was revealed on August 5 at Gamescom 2015 and made available to preorder on the same day.[3]

Design[]
Both the console and controller use a silver and grey metallic design with blue highlights, inspired by the armor worn by Spartan Locke in the game. The side of the console includes small emblems of in game factions such as ONI and the ODSTs. The UNSC logo is printed on the top of the console in addition to the date October 28, 2558 appearing on the other side; the date being from when the game takes place.
