Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is an action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It was released on October 26, 2004 for the PlayStation 2, and on June 7, 2005 for Microsoft Windows and the Xbox.
In 2015, high definition remastered version was released for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 .
It is the seventh title in the Grand Theft Auto series, and the successor to 2002's Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. It was released on the same day as the handheld game Grand Theft Auto Advance for Game Boy Advance. In 2005, the game was included in the video game collection, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy.
On 8 June 2018, the game was added to the Xbox One Backward Compatible library.
Plot[]
Carl Johnson (CJ) has escaped from the challenges of life in Los Santo, San Andreas. A city full of crime, gang troubles, drugs and corruption.
Five years later, in the early 90s, Carl must return to his home after he discovers that his mother has been killed and his family and life long friends are all going down hill.
On CJ's was home, he is framed for murder. This means that Carl must travel throughout the state of San Andreas to fix the all the major problems in his life and take control of the streets as well along the way.
