Events is an Xbox One app that is manually installed on consoles and used to check out events being held in games.

Description

Microsoft’s new Events (beta) app is now available on the Microsoft Store for Xbox One users. This app will offer you information on the in-game events going on in your favorite games in one place. In the events page, you can get event details, schedule, game screenshots, the ability to launch the related game, and more. Microsoft has mentioned that it will add new features and experiences in the coming months.

Xbox fans gain access to exclusive content during events like E3, gamescom, and X0. Features include live streaming, the latest game videos, building a custom schedule of sessions to attend, and receiving notifications of breaking Xbox news.
