Disney INFINITY is a toys-to-life action-adventure video game developed by Avalanche Software and published by Disney Interactive Studios. It was released in 2013 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS, and in 2014 for Windows.

The game is played by placing figurines onto a physical base plate that comes included with the game. Once on the base plate, the characters are then playable in game and can be swapped out with another figurine whenever the player desires. The game included a variety of different playable worlds and characters from various different Disney and Pixar IP, including but not limited to The Incredibles, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Monsters University.

The game features two main modes, Play Set mode, which includes a variety of different story modes based on various Disney and Pixar worlds that are unlocked by placing a Play Set piece onto the base, and Toy Box mode, a sandbox-based mode that allows the user to create their own worlds and adventures from a list of props and other items.

A sequel, Disney INFINITY 2.0, featuring Marvel themed playsets was released in 2014 and was then followed by Disney INFINITY 3.0 in 2015 which included various different Star Wars themed characters and playsets.

Six playsets were released for Disney INFINITY, with three of those, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Incredibles, and Monsters University being included with the games physical Starter Pack.[1] The additional three Playsets could be purchased physically from a variety of retail stores.
