The Computer Entertainment Rating Organization (CERO) is a Japanese entertainment rating organization based in Tokyo that rates video game content in console games with levels of ratings that inform the customers of the nature of the product and what age group it is suitable for. It was established in June 2002.

As of March 1, 2006, CERO has used the following rating system, based around the academic grading system (with the exception of "F" being replaced with "Z"):
- A – All Ages
- B – Ages 12 and up
- C – Ages 15 and up
- D – Ages 17 and up
- Z – Ages 18 and up only
There are also three miscellaneous ratings:
- Educational/Database – for educational/database software,
- CERO Regulations-Compatible – for trial versions of games
- Rating Scheduled – for games that have not been assigned a final rating.
