BigPark was a Canadian video game developer owned by Xbox Game Studios, best known for creating games with avatars, such as Kinect Joy Ride and Kinect Sports: Season Two.
The company was founded in 2007 and acquired by Microsoft in 2009, a few months prior to the announcement of the Kinect sensor (then known as "Project Natal"). As Microsoft moved away from the Kinect around 2016, studios involved with Microsoft's Kinect effort - like BigPark - were folded into the company.
