Assassin's Creed III is an action-adventure and stealth video game, developed by Ubisoft Montréal and published by Ubisoft in late October 2012.
Plot[]
The framing story takes place in 2012, where protagonist Desmond Miles, asissted with the aid of a machine known as the Animus relives the memories of his ancestors to find a way to avert the 21 December 2012 apocalypse. The main story takes place in the 18th century, before, during and after the American Revolution from 1760 to 1783, and follows Desmond Miles' half-English and half-Mohawk ancestor, Ratonhnhakéton (alias Connor), as he fights against the Templar Order while attempting to gain control of the British colonies in North America. The first portion of the game takes place between 1754–1755 and follows Connor's father, Haytham Kenway as the leader of the Colonial Templar Order.
