Today I would like to announce the launch of something that has been in the making for a very long time!
If you have been watching the wiki's activity log, you may have noticed a lot of edits being made on a template known as Infobox Game. This template is an Infobox that will be displayed on video game and app articles, replacing the almost eighteen-year-old Infobox VG that is currently used.
Infobox Game allows for much more information to be shown in a more organised and more visually appealing way when compared to Infobox VG. The template page includes an example of how the template will look. Infobox Game also displays information much better on mobile devices which is important as 67% of Xbox Wiki visitors access the site on mobile devices.
The template page (which I will link below), contains all of the information you need on how to correctly add it to articles and instructions on how to use the necessary templates that are used within the Infobox itself.
The process of converting all articles to the new Infobox type will be a long one, but if everyone tries to help out, it will be done in no time! I will also integrate a notice into Infobox VG so all users can be easily notified of where changes need to be made.
