The Xbox One Chat Headset was the original headset for the Xbox One. The headset was released on September 2, 2014. The headset is wired and doesn't contain batteries. The mic features one ear muff and a mic that can be adjusted.

The headset is used by being plugged into the port at the bottom of the Xbox One controller. The headset has a control pannel that has three buttons these are, mute, volume up and volume down. These settings can also be changed on the Xbox One dashboard.
